It is finally our Kindergartner's and first grader's turn to be a part of our Makerspace Club! The first session was last week and it was so exciting to see those little minds and bodies busy at work. Their challenge is to build a dog park for a real robotic dog! They are being encouraged to build the dog park to allow their robotic dogs to have fun and get exercise. They are using materials such as cardboard, craft sticks, straws, paper towel tubes, and tape to construct their parks. Some students are building slides, shady areas, tunnels, and water stations for their dogs. It will be fun to see them add on to their parks this Thursday when they will all meet again for the 2nd club meeting. In the meantime, enjoy some pictures below from the first meeting.
